At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 74.87 points or 0.09 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 84,843.12, signifying a gain of 70.92 points or 0.08 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.08 per cent, power dropped by 0.04 and auto soared by 0.11 per cent.
Meanwhile, Coromandel International Ltd, Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Ltd, and Jubilant Ingrevia Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Coromandel International Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 19.65 per cent to trade at Rs 2,649.95 apiece. Coromandel International announced its financial results for the quarter (Quarterly Results) and full year ended March 31, 2025. The Board of Directors of Coromandel International Limited has approved the financial results of the company for the quarter and year ended 31st March 2025. Additionally, The Board has recommended final dividend of Rs. 9 per share (900 per cent on face value of Rs. 1 per equity share) for the financial year 2024-25.
Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 8.47 per cent to trade at Rs 347.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
