BSE revises daily circuit limit for 479 stocks including Adani Wilmar, Brightcom Group, and many more!

Besides, a staggering 257 stocks have seen their circuit limit being revised from 5 per cent to 10 per cent with effect from October 10, 2022 (Monday)

Monday might turn out to be an interesting day for the traders as the country’s oldest stock exchange i.e. BSE has revised the daily circuit limit for a total of 479 stocks.   

Interestingly, the step has been taken for a total list of 479 stocks, of which, the circuit limit of 195 stocks have been revised from existing 10 per cent to 20 per cent including Selan Exploration Technology, Medicamen Biotech, Subex, Avantel, Axiscades Technologies, Everest Kanto Cylinder, Dish TV India, Rossell India, Genus Paper & Boards, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, and 63 Moons Technologies.

 

Besides, a staggering 257 stocks have seen their circuit limit being revised from 5 per cent to 10 per cent with effect from October 10, 2022 (Monday) including Adani Wilmar, Olectra Greentech, GTL Infrastructure, PG Electroplast, Goel Food Products and Visa Steel.

 

Further, 17 stocks have seen their circuit limit being revised to 20 per cent from earlier 5 per cent which includes Yasho Industries, Brightcom Group, Raymond, Ram Ratna Wires, JBM Auto, Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation and Orient Green Power Company.

 

On the other hand, a total of 10 stocks have seen their limit being revised downwards.  Silver Oak India and Max Ventures and Industries circuit limit has been revised from 20 per cent to 10 per cent, while Simplex Mills Company limit has been revised to mere 5 per cent from 20 per cent earlier. Along with this, seven other stocks have seen their circuit limit being revised downwards from 10 per cent to 5 per cent.

Revising circuit limits is the job of exchanges but in some cases it will be counter productive. For increase in circuits, the chances of inflating day's price of particular scrip goes higher and in that case it will be erroneous.
