BSE StAR MF sets a record for the second time in a month; processes 30.46 lakh transactions in a single day on July 11, 2022
Outshines former highest single-day record of 30.11 lakh transactions
Continuing its stellar performance, India's largest, regulated, Exchange-based online Mutual Funds Distribution platform created an all-new record.
With all mutual funds and distributors channelising their transactions through online platforms, BSE StAR MF has registered 30.46 lakh transactions on July 11, 2022 outdoing its previous single-day record of 30.11 lakh transactions which was on April 18, 2022.
BSE StAR MF also set its highest monthly record of 2.04 crore transactions in May 2022 as compared to its previous best of 1.96 crore transactions in March 2022.
Overall, the platform achieved 32 per cent of the transaction within 3 months which is 5.94 crore during FY 22-23 (April – June) as compared to 18.47 crore transactions during FY 21-22.
Some of the Key Highlights are:
Turnover:
- For June 2022 was Rs. 36,847 crore, compared to Rs 38,370 crore in May 2022.
- For June 2022 was Rs. 36,847 crore, compared to Rs. 36,584 crore in June 2021.
- Turnover for Q1 FY 22-23 was Rs. 1,11,920 crore as compared to Rs. 1,01,769 crore for Q1 FY 21-22, an increase by 10
Net Equity Inflow:
- For June 2022 it was Rs. 6,949 crore compared to Rs 8,403 crore for May.
- For June 2022 it was Rs. 6,949 crore compared to Rs. 6,072 crore for June 2021.
- Net Equity inflow during Q1 FY 22-23 is Rs. 22,351 crore compared to Rs. 16,677 crore for Q1 FY 21-22, an increase of 34 per cent.
Transactions:
- For June 2022 was 1.95 crore compared to 2.04 crore for May ‘22.
- For June 2022 was 1.95 crore has significantly increased by 52 per cent as compared to 1.28 crore for June 2021.
- Transactions during Q1 FY 22-23 were 5.94 crore as compared to 3.53 crore during Q1 FY 21-22, the tremendous growth of 68 per cent.
New SIP Registrations:
- For June 2022 the platform registered 7.23 lakh new SIPs amounting to Rs 198 crore.
- For May 2022 the platform registered 8.17 lakh new SIPs amounting to Rs 208 crore.
MFDs:
- The distributor network has seen a multi-fold increase to 72,982 (as of June 2022).
BSE StAR MF App (StAR MF Mobility) has processed over 69.30 lakh transactions since its launch, amounting to Rs. 22,353 Cr as on June 2022. The app was launched to help Mutual Fund Distributors register clients on real-time basis and execute paperless transactions. Because of the superior support system and distribution reach of BSE StAR MF, the platform has grown exponentially with network of over 72,982 distributors in India.
