Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
On Friday, the domestic benchmark indices opened higher. At 1.20 pm, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were seen trading in the positive territory at 52,605.68 and 15,661.15 levels, advancing 0.65 per cent & 0.67 per cent, respectively.
M&M, Bajaj Finance, and Hindustan Unilever emerged as the top gainers, which climbed 3.34 per cent, 2.87 per cent & 2.48 per cent, respectively.
