Editor Responds: We are glad to receive such positive feedback from you. The outlook for the banking sector for 2022-23 is predicted to be stable by several rating agencies. The current environment is seen to be conducive for the sector as compared to what it has been over the decades. In Q3FY22 the sector reported the best quarterly profits in over six years. Growth is likely to be supported by pickup in economic activity, increased government spending and improvement in retail demand. Also, strong balance-sheets and better credit demand outlook coupled with the start of a healthy corporate capex cycle augurs well for the sector. Hope we have answered your query. Keep writing to us.
