Overnight Digest: Stocks to keep an eye on April 03!

Watch out for these large-cap stocks in Monday’s trading session!

The Indian benchmark indices benefited from the robust investor sentiment and finished the session sharply higher. The BSE Sensex soared 1.78 per cent to 58,991 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index climbed 1.63 per cent to a level of 17,359. With gains of more than 2 per cent each, BSE Information Technology and BSE Teck emerged as the best performing sectors while real estate, energy and banking stocks also witnessed a strong rally. 

Watch out for these Large-Cap stocks in Monday’s trading session -  

Reliance Industries - Shares of Reliance Industries, the top Sensex gainer, soared more than 4 per cent and made a major contribution to the Sensex rally. Even so, shares have fallen by more than 12 per cent in the past year. Shares of other energy companies including Confidence Petroleum India and Asian Energy Services also climbed.  

Bharat Electronics Limited - The company reported that it secured export orders in March 2023 totaling about 52 million USD. This includes communication equipment, electronic assemblies, micromodules and mechanical parts for a variety of clients from France, Israel, the United States and other countries. Shares were under intense buying pressure and finished the session more than 6 per cent higher.  

ICICI Bank - Shares of the bank climbed over 3 per cent as the top gainer on the BSE Bankex sectoral index, supporting the banking sector's upswing. The BSE Bankex gained 1.72 per cent, while shares of Bandhan Bank and Bank of Baroda also performed considerably well.
