The trading day came to a close with both the Sensex and Nifty showing positive momentum, advancing by 0.26 per cent. Notably, Nifty Midcap has ended the day with a moderate uptick of 0.69 per cent, while Nifty Smallcap has witnessed a significant upsurge, posting a gain of 0.86 per cent.
Leading the way among the sectoral indices are Nifty Pharma, Nifty PSU Bank, and Nifty FMCG, all registering gains. In contrast, Nifty Bank and Nifty Financial Services have taken the top positions among the decliners.
Within the Nifty 50 index, the Top Gainers include L&T, Coal India, and ITC, while Titan, Grasim, and Hero Motocorp have positioned themselves as the top performers on the downside.

Ruchi Infrastructure- A solid price volume breakout was seen at the counter today as the stock rallied and got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit to record an intraday high of Rs 12.20 per share on NSE. Ruchi Infrastructure Ltd is engaged in the business of infrastructure, storage of liquid commodities, agri warehousing facilities, wind power generation, trading of various commodities and manufacturing of soap.
