Radhakishan Damani's portfolio stock: This multibagger small-cap hotel stock is on investor radar, do you have it?

The stock saw a spurt in volume of more than 4.35 times on Bse.

On the BSE today, Advani Hotels and Resorts' share price increased by more than 3 per cent, trading at Rs 89.05, up from Rs 85.72 the previous day. The stock began at Rs 84.55 and traded between Rs 90.43 and Rs 84.55 during the day.

The rise in the share price of Advani Hotels and Resorts coincides with a good feeling in the Indian tourist sector. The company's emphasis on leisure locations, which are benefiting from the post-pandemic pent-up demand for travel, is also likely to be fueling the stock's gain.

As of June 2023, Radhakishan S Damani an Ace investor and owner of Avenue Supermart holds a 4.18 per cent stake in the company.

Advani Hotels and Resorts (India) Ltd. (AHR) is a small Indian hotel company that specialises in leisure locations. AHR has a proven track record, with a compounded growth rate of 36 per cent in net profits over the previous three years. Except for the COVID year of FY21, the corporation has given more over half of its income to shareholders in the form of dividends. AHR is well-positioned to benefit from the expansion of the Indian hotel sector.

AHR, a hotel company, performed exceptionally well in the financial year ending March 31, 2023, focusing on key metrics such as occupancy, revenue per available room, and return on assets. The company's only hotel is situated in Goa, a major tourist destination in India. The future of Goa is promising due to factors such as the opening of the new Mopa airport, the expansion of the existing Dabolim airport, and the government's focus on tourism promotion.

AHR's outlook is optimistic, as the Indian tourism sector is expected to grow, and the company is well-positioned to capitalize on this growth. The company's strong performance record, healthy balance sheet, and proven management team make it a strong contender in the industry.
