Sensex hit 55000 for the first time, BSE SmallCap Index performs inline with the frontline indices;Arvind Fashions Zoom
The BSE Sensex hit 55000 for the first time after jumping higher by more than 200 points on Friday's Trading session.
BSE smallCap index is seen trading in line with the BSE Sensex performance on Friday. Globus Spirits,Rattan Enterprises , Nelco, Nitin Spinners, HCC and Trident are seen locked in upper circuit while MSTC a CPSE e-commerce company headquartered in Kolkatta, that comes under direct control of Ministry of Steel, is seen topping the chart of small cap gainers on Friday.
Technocraft Industries of India, Saduma and Nelcast are higher by more than 10 per cent while Suprajit, MEP, Arvind Fashions, Orient Paper, Indian Glycol, Pricol Ltd and Tasty Bytes are seen trading higher by more than 5 per cent.
Nucleus Software is down by more than 11 per cent while GMM slipped by more than 5 per cent along with Dish TV.
Bajaj Auto is the top Sensex gainer along with ITC and TCS.
