Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

As of May 06, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.21 lakh crore or USD 4.98 trillion.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.19 per cent at 80,641 and the Nifty-50 down 0.33 per cent at 24,380. About 779 shares have advanced, 3,167 shares have declined and 126 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 2.16 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 2.33 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Godrej Industries Ltd, Coromandel International Ltd and Max Healthcare Institute Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were CCL Products (India) Ltd, Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem Ltd and Poly Medicure Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices traded mixed with the BSE Teck Index and BSE Auto Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Power Index were the Top Losers.

As of May 06, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.21 lakh crore or USD 4.98 trillion. On the same day, 63 stocks hit a 52-week high while 78 stocks touched a 52-week low.
