Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.78 per cent at 80,737 and the Nifty-50 down 0.70 per cent at 24,543. About 1,731 shares have advanced, 2,266 shares have declined and 147 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.52 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.07 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Brainbees Solutions Ltd, Jindal Stainless Ltd and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Voltamp Transformers Ltd, National Fertilizer Ltd and Sterling Tools Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices traded mixed with the BSE Commodities Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Utilities Index and BSE Power Index were the Top Losers.

As of June 03, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 443 lakh crore or USD 5.19 trillion. On the same day, 108 stocks hit a 52-week high while 37 stocks touched a 52-week low.
