Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today
As of June 09, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 455 lakh crore or USD 5.32 trillion.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Monday with the Sensex up 0.31 per cent at 82,445 and the Nifty-50 up 0.40 per cent at 25,103. About 2,798 shares have advanced, 1,409 shares have declined and 128 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.03 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.19 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Bandhan Bank Ltd, Whirlpool of India Ltd, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd and JSW Infrastructure Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Somany Ceramics Ltd, GOCL Corporation Ltd, Balu Forge Industries Ltd and Motisons Jewellers Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices traded mixed with the BSE Power Index and BSE Utilities Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Consumer Durables Index were the Top Losers.
As of June 09, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 455 lakh crore or USD 5.32 trillion. On the same day, 178 stocks hit a 52-week high while 43 stocks touched a 52-week low.
