Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on April 22

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 398 lakh crore or USD 4.77 trillion as of April 22, 2024.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Monday with the Sensex up 0.77 per cent at 73,649, and the Nifty-50 up 0.86 per cent at 22,336. About 2,621 shares have advanced, 1,283 have declined and 153 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 75,124.80 on April 09, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 22,768.40 on April 09, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.93 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.26 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Voltas Ltd, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd and Yes Bank. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Lloyds Engineering Works Ltd, Tejas Networks Ltd and Sigachi Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE Capital Goods Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Utilities Index was the the only losing sector.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 398 lakh crore or USD 4.77 trillion as of April 22, 2024. On the same day, 238 stocks hit a 52-week high while 17 stocks touched a 52-week low.
