Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on October 25

The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies was Rs 3,09,25,854 crore or approx. Rs 309 lakh crore as of October 25, 2023.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices ended the trading session on Wednesday in negative territory, with the Sensex down 0.81 per cent at 64,049.06 and the Nifty down 0.83 per cent at 19,122.15. About 1,224 shares have advanced, 2,463 have declined and 108 were unchanged on BSE.

The broader markets were in negative territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.52 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.77 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Overseas Bank and UCO Bank while the top small-cap gainers were Welspun India Ltd and Sadhana Nitrochem Ltd.

All sectoral indices were trading lower today, except for the BSE Metals Index, which was the only sector in the green, up 0.85 per cent. The BSE Teck Index, BSE Industrials Index and BSE Telecommunication Index are the Top Losers sectoral indices down over 1.30 per cent each.

The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies was Rs 3,09,25,854 crore or approx. Rs 309 lakh crore as of October 25, 2023. On the same day, 105 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 65 stocks touched a 52-week low.
