Spurt in Volume Stock: This small-cap company has declared a special dividend; know the record date!

Today, shares of the company saw a spurt in volume by more than 15.43 times on BSE.  

Today, shares of TV Today Network Ltd rose 10.11 per cent to an intraday high of Rs 315 per share from its previous closing of Rs 286.10. At 03:30 IST, the shares of the company ended that day higher, up 5.52 per cent to Rs 301.90.  

The company declared a special interim dividend of Rs 67 (Rupees Sixty-Seven only) per Equity Share i.e., at the rate of 1340 per cent on the face value of Rs 5 each fully paid up, for the financial year 2022-2023. The company verified the record date as Monday, February 13, 2023.  

In the financial year 2022-2023, the company also declared a final dividend of Rs 3 per equity share in September quarter (Q2). Today, shares of the company saw a spurt in volume by more than 15.43 times on BSE.  

TV Today Network Limited operates a 24-hour news channel, Aaj Tak, delivering news in Hindi. The company also operates an English news channel, Headlines Today, which primarily targets young urban viewers.

Talking about the financials, this consumer discretionary company has a market cap of Rs 1801 crore. According to quarterly statements recently declared (Q3), the firm reported positive results. Net sales were Rs 231 crore in Q3FY23, compared to Rs 258 crore in Q3FY22. In Q3FY23, net profit was Rs 28 crore, compared to Rs 67 crore in Q3FY22. Investors should keep an eye on this Small-Cap stock.
