Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on April 11

At 1 pm on Monday, the core equity indices i.e., Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading marginally lower amidst weak global cues. The global markets were down by almost a per cent, owing to uncertainty regarding the inflation-curbing policies of Federal Reserve, and the release of oil supply by the countries from their strategic reserves, which led to the reduction in crude oil price as well. Crude oil price fell by 2 per cent and is trading at $96.16 per barrel.

Asian markets were also down by 3 per cent as China faces severe lockdowns thereby, impacting its manufacturing sector.

Sensex was at 59,171.91, down by 275.27  points or 0.46 per cent while Nifty was at 17,730.35, down by 54  points or 0.30 per cent from the last trading session.

On BSE, 2,136 shares have advanced, 1,315 shares declined whereas 140 shares are unchanged.

The top five gainers in Nifty 50 pack are Grasim Industries, Adani Ports & SEZ, ITC, JSW Steel, and Apollo Hospitals. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index are HCL Technologies, Infosys, Wipro, Larsen & Toubro, and Power Grid Corporation.

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 29,962.26, up by 0.66 per cent. The Top Gainers include Sandur Manganese and Iron Ores (up by 20 per cent), Shiva Cement (up by 19.96 per cent), Asian Granito India, Udaipur Cement, and Godfrey Phillips India. Each of these stocks gained more than 14 per cent. Similarly, the top losers are Brightcom Group, Reliance Capital, Tejas Networks, PTC India Finance, and Gujarat Minerals & Chemicals.

Sector-wise speaking, BSE IT, BSE Energy, BSE Capital Goods, and BSE Consumer Durables were down by more than 1 per cent each. On the other hand, BSE Power and BSE Oil & Gas were up by almost 2 per cent each.

Following is the list of low-priced stocks that made a fresh 52-week high on Monday. Keep a close eye on these counters for the upcoming sessions:
