Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on October 3

The FIIs sold equity worth Rs 1,565.31 crore on Friday (September 30) while the DIIs bought equity for a net worth of Rs 3,245.45 crore.    

At the time of market closing on Monday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 plunged over a per cent each, owing to the rising inflation fears in the US markets.  

Sensex closed at 56,759.28, down by 667.64 points or 1.16 per cent while Nifty 50 settled at 16,882.40, down by 211.95 points or 1.24 per cent. Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index ended the session at 38,014.75 level, down by 1.60 per cent.

The Top Gainers in Nifty 50 pack were ONGC, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Cipla, BPCL, Coal India, and NTPC. Meanwhile, the stocks pulling down the index were Adani Enterprises, Eicher Motors, Adani Ports & SEZ, Tata Consumer Products, and Maruti Suzuki.  

BSE Smallcap index settled at 28,300.22, higher by 0.54 per cent. The top gainers in the pack were Morepen Laboratories (12.13 per cent), Triveni Turbine (10.90 per cent), (8.03 per cent), Jay Bharat Maruti (10.60 per cent), and Deep Industries (9.74 per cent).  

On the sectoral front, all the indices except BSE Healthcare closed in the red. BSE Commodities, BSE Utilities, BSE Auto, BSE Power, and BSE FMCG were the Top Losers on the bourses today.
