Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on September 23
The FIIs sold equity worth Rs 2,409.55 crore on Thursday (September 22) while the DIIs bought equity for a net worth of Rs 263.07 crore
At 11.30 am on Friday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 are seen extending their losing streak in the morning, owing to weak global cues.
Sensex is trading at 58,527.69, down by 600.79 points or 1.02 per cent while Nifty 50 is trading at 17,459.40, lower by 169.05 points or 0.96 per cent. Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index has lost the 40,000 mark and is trading at the 39,820.35 level, down by 2 per cent.

The Top Gainers in Nifty 50 pack are Divi’s Laboratories, Tata Steel, Sun Pharmaceuticals, ITC, and Infosys. Meanwhile, the stocks pulling down the index include Power Grid Corporation of India, Mahindra & Mahindra, HDFC, IndusInd Bank, and HDFC Bank.
BSE Smallcap index has also plunged and is trading at 29,140.36, lower by 0.81 per cent. The top gainers in the pack are Jai Balaji Industries (31.67 per cent), Schneider Electric Infrastructure (11.43 per cent), Apcotex Industries (8.98 per cent), Ruby Mills (6.26 per cent), and JTL Infra (6.01 per cent).
On the sectoral front, most of the indices are trading in the red with BSE Financial Services, Private Bank, BE Power, and BSE Utilities losing the most. On the other hand, the only indices trading on the higher side includes BSE IT, BSE Healthcare, and BSE FMCG.
