Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on September 2

The FIIs sold equity worth Rs 2,290.31 crore on Thursday (September 1) while the DIIs bought equity for a net worth of Rs 951.13 crore.     

 At 1.30 pm on Friday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading flat due to mixed global cues as the US markets await jobs data for the month of August on Friday.    

The Asia-Pacific markets are also showing mixed reactions as Japan’s Nikkei 225 index is trading lower by 0.04 per cent and China’s Shanghai Composite is trading higher by 0.05 per cent.    

Sensex is trading at 58,950.60, higher by 184.15 points or 0.31 per cent while Nifty 50 is at 17,587.95, up by45.15 points or 0.26 per cent. Nifty Bank is trading higher by 0.22 per cent at 39,386.35 level. India VIX is down by 1.11 per cent today.

The Top Gainers in Nifty 50 pack are Adani Ports & SEZ, Larsen & Toubro, Apollo Hospitals, ITC, and HDFC Life Insurance. Meanwhile, the stocks pulling down the index were Shree Cement, ONGC, Hindalco Industries, BPCL, and IndusInd Bank.    

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 28,917.48 up by 0.45 per cent. The top gainers in the pack were EIH (16.73 per cent), Alankit (16.01 per cent), Mirc Electronics (11.93 per cent), Jaiprakash Associates (11.50 per cent), and Fermenta Biotech (11.38 per cent).  

On the sectoral front, BSE Capital Goods, BSE Telecom, BSE Industrials, and BSE Power were the top gainers while BSE Metal was the top loser on the bourses today.
