Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus on Monday!

Similarly, S&P BSE Smallcap index plunged 561 points and is trading at 28,816 level.

The domestic equity benchmarks traded with significant losses on September 23. S&P BSE Sensex closed at a level of 58,098.92 after tumbling 1,020 points. Nifty 50 index also ended at 17,327.35 levelslipping 302 points.  

  

Similarly, S&P BSE Smallcap index plunged 561 points and is trading at 28,816 level. The Top Gainers of the index include JTL Infra, Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Papers, JM Financial, Vijaya Diagnostic Centre, and Gayatri Projects.  

  

The following Small-Cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Monday, September 26, 2022:  

  

Vesuvius India: Vesuvius India Ltd (VIL) laid the foundation stone of a new manufacturing facility at Parawada, Visakhapatnam. This facility will be the latest addition to the existing manufacturing facilities at Kolkata (West Bengal), Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), and Mehsana (Gujarat). VIL, through its proposed wholly-owned subsidiary, will invest approx. Rs 57 crore in the first phase. This is in addition to roughly Rs 100 crore investments in progress in building capabilities & capacities in different plants in Kolkata and Vizag.  

  

Schneider Electric Infrastructure: The shares traded at a 52-week high of Rs 189.6 per share after seeing a spurt in trading volume. It also made a 52-week high on Thursday. In the past two trading sessions, the company has gained 19.81 per cent. Its PAT has grown exponentially, giving a return of 186.4 per cent in the June quarter. Moreover, its net profit grew by 28.91 per cent to Rs 371.48 crore.   

  

Ruby Mills: The shares of Ruby Mills were in focus today as the company issued bonus shares on September 23. The stock experienced a surge in trading volume. It delivered a gain of over 9 per cent after touching an intraday high of Rs 351 per share. The company’s RoCE stood at 5.77 per cent, which has been the highest in the last one year. The net sales and PAT rose by more than 25 per cent each in the last quarter.  

  

52-week high stocks: Campus Activewear, Pricol, Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances, Escorts Kubota, Metro Brands, Vesuvius India.
