On Wednesday, the Sensex gained by 582.87 points to close at 59,689.31, while the Nifty 50 surged by 159 points to close at 17,557.05. Among the BSE Smallcap gainers were Nadan Denim, Black Rose Industries, Jindal Drilling & Industries and Ruby Mills.   

The following Small-Cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Thursday, April 06, 2023:    

Axita Cotton: The company informed the exchange that it has received orders for Indian raw cotton of value aggregating to Rs 26.94 crore ($ 3284883.80 approx).  

Nazara TechnologiesThe company informed the exchange that the Singapore subsidiary of NODWIN Gaming — the esports and gaming arm of Nazara Technologies, has acquired a 51 per cent stake in the Singapore-based full-service live media company, Branded.   

Ahluwalia Contracts: The company informed the exchange that it has secured an order for construction of Dharavi wastewater treatment facility under Mumbai Sewage disposal project at Mumbai awarded from Welspun Enterprises at Mumbai worth of Rs 556.58 crore approx. 

52-week high: Apar Industries, Bectors Food, Goyal Aluminium, Vardhman Steels, Linc
