NSE launches WTI Crude oil and Natural gas Futures contracts! Everything you need to know

In a bid to woo investors, NSE has waived off transaction charges in both these contracts till October-end.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE), on May 15, 2023 (Monday) launched its rupee-denominated futures contracts on underlying NYMEX WTI crude oil and Natural Gas in its commodity derivatives segment.

Among the sectoral indices, Nifty Metals climbed nearly 4 per cent and saw a good short-covering rally. Financial and realty have also performed well.

Indices closed higher on the day of the weekly expiry. Nifty gained about 0.89 per cent to close at 16,132 while Sensex climbed 427 points.
