Ten stocks close to their 52-week high

52-week high refers to the highest market price of a given stock over a one year period.

Indian equity market closed higher in the volatile session on February 2. At close on Thursday, the Sensex was up 224.16 points or 0.38 per cent at 59,932.24, and the Nifty was down 5.90 points or 0.03 per cent at 17,610.40. 

 

Big Nifty50 gainers of the day include ITC, Britannia Industries, IndusInd Bank, HUL and Infosys, while losers were Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, UPL, HDFC Life and Divis Labs.

 

Sector-wise, FMCG and Information Technology indices rose 1-2 per cent, while power, oil & gas, and metal indices lost 1-4 per cent. In the broad markets, the BSE midcap and the smallcap indices finished marginally higher.
