These 3 small-cap stocks gain over 6 per cent in a sideways market!

These stocks from S&P BSE 250 SmallCap space were trading in the green after strong demand from buyers.

The benchmark index S&P BSE 250 SmallCap Index opened at 3,686.38 and made its day high at 3,709.46 and it is currently trading in green with an up move by more than 0.60 per cent.     

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 6 per cent today.      

Shares of Laxmi Organics Industries Limited were trading up by more than 7.5 per cent on BSE today. The scrip closed on Thursday at Rs 234.95 and opened on Friday at Rs 235.65 a piece. Shares touched their day high today at Rs 257.55 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 493.30, whereas the 52-week low is Rs 234.05. Presently, the promoters are holding a 72.50 per cent stake in the company and the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 2.10 per cent and 25.40 per cent, respectively.      

Another top player today is HLE Glascoat Limited. Shares were trading up by more than 8 per cent on BSE during the day. The stock opened at Rs 486.10 a piece and touched its day high today at Rs 543.45. The 52-week high of HLE Glascoat Limited is at Rs 1,179.63, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 477.90. The promoters are holding around 70.32 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 5.01 per cent and 24.66 per cent, respectively.      

One more top gainer today which shot up by 7 per cent is KPIT Technologies Limited. The stock opened at Rs 829.95 and touched its 52-week high at Rs 878.80. On Thursday, the shares closed at Rs 815.35 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 878.80, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 440.00. Currently, the promoters are holding about 40.10 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 32.99 per cent and 26.50 per cent, respectively.
