This civil construction company receives order worth Rs 50.67 crore from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti!

NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, is a government-owned company. The company operates in three primary segments, namely project management consultancy, engineering procurement & construction and real estate.  

NBCC (India) Ltd, on June 20, 2023, announced that it has secured a contract from Novodaya Vidyalaya Samiti to construct an MP Hall at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) in multiple locations across Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. The project is scheduled to be completed within a period of 12 months, with the total order size amounting to Rs 50.67 crore.  

The company has delivered great returns of 50 per cent over the past 1 year and returns of 73 per cent over the past 3 years. Additionally, the company has a ROCE of 20.8 per cent with a ROE of 19.8 per cent. Moreover, the company has a healthy dividend payout ratio of 44.4 per cent.  

On Tuesday, shares of the company plunged by 0.19 per cent to trade at Rs 41.10.
