Meanwhile, Housing & Urban Development Corporation Limited (up 10.77 per cent), NBCC (India) Limited (up 4.49 per cent), and MMTC Limited Limited (up 3.26 per cent) are the Top Gainers at BSE as of 12:31 pm.
The market participants are showing lots of interest in PSU stocks. The reason behind the interest in PSU stocks can be stable liquidity and funding outlook, earnings growth, stable economics for business and cheap valuations, etc.
In the last one month, these 3 PSU stocks jumped by more than 30 per cent. Housing & Urban Development Corporation Limited zoomed 49 per cent, NBCC (India) Limited jumped more than 32.20 per cent and MMTC Limited surged almost 24.53 per cent. Whereas, the S&P BSE PSU index has given 5.02 per cent returns in the last one month.

Today, the stock opened at Rs 49.15 and made a high and low of Rs 55.15 and Rs 49.10 with a previous close of Rs 48.75, respectively on BSE.
NBCC (India) Limited recently received an order of Rs 271.62 crore for the construction and repair project. Today the stock opened at Rs 41.60 and made a high and low of Rs 43.80 and Rs 41.00, respectively with a previous close of Rs 41.20 on BSE.
