Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 179.20 points or 0.30 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index strengthened to 59,857.17, signifying gains of 24.2 points or 0.04 per cent. 

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals slipped by 0.15 per cent, power gained by 0.44 per cent whereas auto was up by 0.40 per cent.  

Meanwhile, EIH Ltd, National Standard (India) Ltd and Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.  

EIH Ltd, the flagship company of the Oberoi Group, surged 6.84 per cent to trade at Rs 174.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.  

National Standard (India) Ltd rallied 5 per cent to trade at Rs 5275.70 apiece. The stock has  been hitting its upper circuit for the fifth day in a row.  The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.  

Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd an S&P BSE SmallCap company, climbed 5 per cent to trade at Rs 289.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
