Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 121.21 points or 0.19 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 62,836.44 signifying a slight decline of 9.94 points or 0.02 per cent over its previous closing.   

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals declined by 0.49 per cent, power gained 0.14 and auto rose by 0.16 per cent.            

Meanwhile, Sobha Ltd, ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd and Eureka Forbes Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.      

Sobha Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 9.34 per cent to trade at Rs 554.90 apiece. The stock zoomed as the the company recorded strong quarterly performance for the quarter ended March 31, 2023 with a 242 per cent jump in net profit.

ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd rallied 8.26 per cent to trade at Rs 582.75 apiece. The rally was on the back of excellent financial performance with 138 per cent rise in net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2023

Eureka Forbes Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 5.22 per cent to trade at Rs 422.00 apiece. The company’s also posted excellent Quarterly Results for the quarter ended March 31, 2023.
