Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 45.35 points or 0.07 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 62,838.99 signifying a decline of 130.14 points or 0.21 per cent over its previous closing.     

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals declined by 0.28 per cent, power fell by 0.26 and auto declined by 0.06 per cent.               

Meanwhile, Brightcom Group Ltd, Indo Count Industries Ltd and Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.         

Brightcom Group Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.00 per cent to trade at Rs 18.70 apiece. Today, the company announced its financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2023 with 42 per cent jump in net profit for Q4.

Indo Count Industries Ltd rallied 4.62 per cent to trade at Rs 165.15 apiece. Indo Count Industries also announced its Quarterly Results for Q4FY23 with 17 per cent rise in the revenue. 

Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.35 per cent to trade at Rs 170.50 apiece. The company has also posted excellent quarterly performance for the quarter ended March 31, 2023.
