Watch out for these low-priced stocks which made fresh 52-week high on Thursday

At 11.30 am on Thursday, the core equity indices i.e., Sensex and Nifty 50 were seen trading at 61,20 and 18,233 levels, respectively. Sensex was up by 54 points, while Nifty was up by 21 points from the last trading session. 

The top five gainers of Nifty 50 were Tata Steel, Coal India, JSW Steel, Sun Pharmaceuticals, and United Phosphorous Limited. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index included Wipro, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, HCL Technologies, and HDFC Bank.

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 30,793.97, up by 0.48 per cent. The top five gainers are Repro India, Pricol, GOCL Corp, TCNS Clothing Co, and Jindal Stainless. Each of these stocks gained more than 10 per cent. Similarly, the top five stocks pulling the index down include GNA Axles, Jaiprakash Power, Camlin Fine Sciences, GRM Overseas, and Vikas WSP.

Talking about the BSE sectoral indices, BSE Realty was down by 0.85 per cent, followed by BSE Auto, which was down by 0.66 per cent. Rest all of the indices were exhibiting flattish to bearish trends.
