The stock of Pearl Polymers skyrocketed 30 per cent in just two days!

Following bearish global cues, the key equity indices were trading near the day's lows with severe losses in the morning trade. Investors were wary ahead of US inflation data, which will be released later today. All the sectoral indices were trading in the red with finance, IT, banking, and metal taking the worst hit.    

 

The stock of Pearl Polymers skyrocketed 30 per cent in just two days! The stock is up by 20 per cent in today’s trading session. Meanwhile, the shares of IIFL Finance and TTML are seen jumping more than 5 per cent & 8 per cent, respectively.  

  

Sensex plunged 692 points to the 54,627 level at 10.24 am. Similarly, BSE Midcap index traded in the downward direction, losing 140 points at 22,493 levels. BSE Smallcap index also dropped 105 points and trades at 25,934 levels. The Top Gainers on Sensex are Asian Paints, Titan, UltraTech Cement, Power Grid Corporation of India, and Maruti Suzuki. The Top Losers on the index are Wipro, Bajaj Finance, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Tech Mahindra, and HDFC Bank.  

  

Likewise, Nifty 50 index is trading flat after opening in red at 16,285 levels. Similarly, Bank Nifty slipped 447 points at a level of 34,638. The top gainers on Nifty 50 are Asian Paints, Eicher Motors, Titan, UltraTech Cement, and Power Grid Corporation of India. On the other hand, the top losers include Bajaj Finance, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Hindalco Industries, and Kotak Mahindra Bank.  

     

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold shares worth Rs 1,512.64 crore on June 09 while the domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought shares worth Rs 1,624.90 crore.
