Brent crude for August 2022 settlement was 11 cents up or 0.09 per cent at $123.69 a barrel on the commodities market.
The stock of KPI Green skyrocketed 10 per cent today. The pharma stocks are seen outperforming today morning. Meanwhile, the shares of Mirza International and Manorama Industries are seen jumping more than 5 per cent each.
Sensex traded with minor gains of 49 points at 54,941 at 10.52 am. Similarly, BSE Midcap index trades in the upward direction, by 17 points at 22,548 levels. BSE Smallcap index also trades higher by 32 points at 26,010 levels. The Top Gainers on Sensex are Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Reliance Industries, Maruti Suzuki, Bharti Airtel, and ITC. The Top Losers on the index are Tata Steel, Asian Paints, State Bank of India, UltraTech Cement & Axis Bank.
Likewise, Nifty 50 index is trading flat but into the green territory after opening in red at 16,356 levels. Bank Nifty, on the other hand, is down by 146 points at a level of 34,799. The top gainers on Nifty 50 are Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, ONGC, Bajaj Auto, Reliance Industries, and Maruti Suzuki. On the other hand, the top losers include Tata Steel, Shree Cement, Grasim Industries, Hindalco Industries, and State Bank of India.
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold shares worth Rs 2,484.25 crore on June 08 while the domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought shares worth Rs 1,904.33 crore.
