Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The top mid-cap gainers were Tata Communications Ltd, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd and Gujarat Gas Ltd.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Wednesday with the Sensex down 0.34 per cent at 83,410 and the Nifty-50 down 0.35 per cent at 25,453. About 1,809 shares have advanced, 2,205 shares have declined and 157 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.18 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.20 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Tata Communications Ltd, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd and Gujarat Gas Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Gabriel India Ltd, Prime Focus Ltd and TTK Healthcare Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE Metals Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Financial Services Index were the Top Losers.

As of July 02, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 461 lakh crore or USD 5.38 trillion. On the same day, 145 stocks hit a 52-week high while 51 stocks touched a 52-week low.
