Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

As of May 13, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 431 lakh crore or USD 5.08 trillion.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the sred on Tuesday with the Sensex down 1.55 per cent at 81,148 and the Nifty-50 down 1.39 per cent at 24,578. About 2,559 shares have advanced, 1,402 shares have declined and 140 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.17 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.99 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Vishal Mega Mart Ltd, Inventurus Knowledge Solutions Ltd and Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Dynamic Cables Ltd, InfoBeans Technologies Ltd and CARE Ratings Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices traded mixed with the BSE Industrials Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Teck Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of May 13, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 431 lakh crore or USD 5.08 trillion. On the same day, 76 stocks hit a 52-week high while 30 stocks touched a 52-week low.
