At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 138.11 points or 0.17 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.21 per cent, power zoomed by 0.27 and auto soared by 0.24 per cent.
Meanwhile, Hatsun Agro Product Ltd, Akzo Nobel India Ltd, and Zen Technologies Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Hatsun Agro Product Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.20 per cent to trade at Rs 954.70 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Akzo Nobel India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.90 per cent to trade at Rs 3,685.95 apiece. The Board has approved the audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and year ended 31st March 2025. A final dividend of Rs 30 per equity share has been recommended for FY 2024-25, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming 71st AGM.
Zen Technologies Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.00 per cent to trade at Rs 1,794.75 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
