Ingersoll-Rand reports revenue growth of 40 per cent

Ingersoll-Rand (India) Ltd reported mixed set of numbers for the quarter ended March 2019.

On the standalone financial front, total revenue from operations rose to Rs. 191.31 crore in Q4FY19 from Rs. 136.28 crore in Q4FY18, posting a YoY growth of 40.38 per cent. EBITDA posted a modest growth of 3.16 per cent YoY as it increased marginally to Rs. 24.51 crore in Q4FY19 from Rs. 23.76 crore in Q4FY18. PAT declined 36.44 per cent YoY to Rs. 16.83 crore in Q4FY19 from Rs. 26.48 crore in Q4FY18. As a consequence, the EPS plummeted to Rs. 5.33 in Q4FY19 from Rs. 8.39 in Q4FY18, thereby slipping 36.47 per cent.

Furthermore, the board recommended a final dividend of Rs 3 per equity share of face value of Rs 10 each for the financial year ended March 2019. This is subject to the approval of the shareholders at the next annual general meeting.

Ingersoll-Rand (India) Ltd. is a well-diversified global firm which provides products, services and solutions for air compressors and compressed air solutions.

On Thursday, the shares of Ingersoll-Rand opened at Rs 582, and hit a high and low of Rs 590.45 and Rs 569, respectively, on the BSE. The stock closed at Rs 582, up by 1.06 per cent over the previous close.
