Kalpataru Power Transmission secures new orders in T&D segment

Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited (KPTL) has today after market hours informed the bourses that the company has bagged new orders worth Rs 956 crore.

These orders have been received from India, Africa and Middle East in transmission and distribution (T&D) business. Further, the company’s international subsidiary has received new T&D projects in Europe. On the order book front, the domestic T&D segment contributes 11 per cent whereas, the international T&D segment contributes 43 per cent to the total order book as of FY20.

The consolidated order book as on March 2020 stood at Rs 13,288 crore and order inflows YTD FY21 came in at Rs 909 crore. Also, the company has an L1 position of around Rs 2,000 crore majorly in transmission and distribution business.

Other than T&D business, the contribution of different businesses stood at Oil & Gas- 19 per cent and Railways- 27 per cent.

KPTL is one of the largest and fastest-growing specialised engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies in India engaged in power transmission and distribution, oil and gas pipeline, railways, infrastructure development, civil contracting and warehousing as well as logistics business.

In today’s trading session, the stock of Kalpataru Power Transmission gained nearly three per cent to Rs 219.90 and finally closed at Rs 216.45 on BSE.
