Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The top mid-cap gainers were Aditya Birla Capital Ltd, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd and Suzlon Energy Ltd.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.22 per cent at 81,331 and the Nifty-50 up 0.36 per cent at 24,667. About 2,855 shares have advanced, 1,121 shares have declined and 149 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.19 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.63 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Aditya Birla Capital Ltd, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd and Suzlon Energy Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd and HBL Engineering Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices traded mixed with the BSE Industrials Index and BSE Metals Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Bankex Index and BSE Financial Services Index were the Top Losers.

As of May 14, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 435 lakh crore or USD 5.10 trillion. On the same day, 88 stocks hit a 52-week high while 30 stocks touched a 52-week low.
