Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The top mid-cap gainers were Honeywell Automation India Ltd, Star Health & Allied Insurance Company Ltd and Linde India Ltd.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Thursday with the Sensex up 1.48 per cent at 82,531 and the Nifty-50 up 1.60 per cent at 25,062. About 2,639 shares have advanced, 1,325 shares have declined and 150 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.67 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.94 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Honeywell Automation India Ltd, Star Health & Allied Insurance Company Ltd and Linde India Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Nelcast Ltd, Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd and Foseco India Ltd.

On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in the green with the BSE Commodities Index, BSE Industrials Index, BSE Consumer Durables Index, BSE Metals Index, BSE Realty Index and BSE Services Index surging over 1.5 per cent each.

As of May 15, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 440 lakh crore or USD 5.14 trillion. On the same day, 88 stocks hit a 52-week high while 30 stocks touched a 52-week low.
