Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

As of May 30 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 444 lakh crore or USD 5.19 trillion. On the same day, 109 stocks hit a 52-week high while 43 stocks touched a 52-week low.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Friday with the Sensex down 0.22 per cent at 81,451 and the Nifty-50 down 0.33 per cent at 24,751. About 1,821 shares have advanced, 2,167 shares have declined and 131 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.39 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.17 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Suzlon Energy Ltd, Clean Science & Technology Ltd and Bank of Maharashtra. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Lumax Auto Technologies Ltd, Ravindra Energy Ltd and John Cockerill India Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices traded mixed with the BSE Industrials Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Metals Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.
