Considering the fact that much of the action was witnessed in the broader markets, we have curated a list of penny stocks that witnessed FOMO on Wednesday.
Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar: The stock had opened at the level of Rs 14.15 and went on to touch a high of Rs 14.85, which also happens to be the upper circuit limit of the day for the stock. In the end, the stock settled with gains of nearly 3.90 per cent at Rs 14.70.
Jaiprakash Associates: The stock got locked at the upper circuit limit of Rs 8.15 while it had opened the day at Rs 7.80. The stock has recorded the highest single-day volume in the last two weeks.
RattanIndia Power: After opening at the level of Rs 4.50, the stock made a low of Rs 4.45. Thereafter, it touched the upper circuit limit and at the end, it closed at Rs 4.70.
Sakuma Exports: The stock opened at the level of Rs 10 on Wednesday and closed at the day’s high, which also happens to be the upper band of the stock for the day.
