These penny stocks experience FOMO; watch out!
It was a very dull weekly options expiry as domestic benchmark NSE Nifty50 index oscillated in a range of 77 points and ended up by 0.09 per cent. However, the broader market indices continued to remain upbeat. The Nifty Midcap 100 index was up by 0.29 per cent and the Nifty Smallcap 100 index moved up by 0.64 per cent. Interestingly, both indices also hit their respective all-time highs on Thursday.
So, we have curated a list of penny stocks that witnessed FOMO on Thursday.
Dish TV India: Among the sectoral indices, Nifty Media was top performing sector as it gained 2.97 per cent. The rally of nearly 20 per cent in the Dish TV aided the media index to put up a strong show.
Eastern Silk Industries: The stock opened at Rs 3.70 and interestingly, the opening of the day was also the lowest point of the day. Furthermore, the stock hit at an upper circuit and also, recorded the highest single-day volume in the last five trading sessions.
Future Consumer: The stock has recorded its highest single-day volume since June 17 and it has logged double-digit gains on Thursday.
HLV Limited: The stock had closed at the upper circuit and the volume recorded for the day was highest since August 20.
Ujjivan Small Finance Bank: The stock has jumped 9.5 per cent and volume recorded for the day was highest since August 24.
