Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 5.60 points or 0.01 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals slipped by 0.04 per cent, power zoomed by 0.25 and auto soared by 0.21 per cent.

Meanwhile, Ajanta Pharma Ltd, Ashoka Buildcon Ltd, and Dr. Lal PathLabs Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Ajanta Pharma Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 8.67 per cent to trade at Rs 2,798.85 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Ashoka Buildcon Ltd, an S&P BSE company, jumped 5.00 per cent to trade at Rs 229.85 apiece. The Company and Ashoka Purestudy Technologies Private Limited, a subsidiary of the Company, has jointly submitted bid for various projects to Motor Vehicles Department, Maharashtra.
Dr. Lal PathLabs Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 4.50 per cent to trade at Rs 2,985.35 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
