Hindustan Copper’s shares rise by over 2% as it signs MoU with MIDHANI
Hindustan Copper’s shares rose by over 2% intraday on Tuesday after the company, on Monday, reported that the company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mishra Dhatu Nigam (MIDHANI), a central public sector enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Defence.
This MoU was signed for a joint collaboration in the production of copper-nickel tubes and related items.
This will promote Make in India initiative and create significant business synergy for both HCL and MIDHANI.
At Rs 66.35 per share, the stock was trading up by 2% on BSE at 1018 hours. It opened at Rs 65.90 per share. It touched its intraday high and low at Rs 67.20 and Rs 65.80, respectively. The stock attracted a traded volume of 3,46,839 shares and traded value of Rs 230.61 lakh on NSE at 1022 hours.
