On Monday, Bharati Airtel announced a partnership with Google Cloud to offer G Suite to Small and Medium-sized Business (SMBs) in India as part of its integrated Information and Communications Technology (ICT) portfolio, thus helping to serve the evolving need of millions of Indian businesses in a rapidly digitising economy.

G Suite is a collection of apps designed with real-time collaboration and machine intelligence in order to enable people work in a smarter, yet protected way. The list includes Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, etc. The agreement will enable both companies to tap into the growth opportunities in India, which ranks second in the number of internet users in the world. Airtel serves over 2,500 large businesses and over 500,000 SMBs and technology startups across India.

Adding to the Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) issue, where the Supreme Court had dismissed pleas of operators to review its earlier judgement last week, the telecommunication companies are likely to move a modification plea in the apex court today and seek for more time to pay the AGR.
