Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
Both Sensex and Nifty opened in the red on Wednesday. At 11.25 am, Sensex was trading at 59,174.94, down by 0.83 per cent while Nifty was at 17,645.90, down by 0.58 per cent.
NTPC, Power Grid, and State Bank of India emerged as the top three gainers of today’s session, which inched higher by 6.03 per cent, 3.54 per cent & 1.60 per cent, respectively.
