Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened the last trading session of the week in the negative territory. Even at 11.47 am, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were seen trading at 54,196.41 and 16,207.25 levels, plunging 1.64 per cent & 1.76 per cent, respectively.
Dr Reddy's Laboratories, ITC, and Sun Pharma emerged as the top gainers of the day, which surged 1.33 per cent, 1.16 per cent & 0.43 per cent, respectively.
