NIIT venture StackRoute announces 2 programs in data science & machine learning

NIIT Limited’s venture StackRoute has announced the launch of Data Science Foundation Program and Advanced Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in data science & machine learning. StackRoute has designed these programs on data science track in partnership with Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis & Information Systems (Germany). 

The programs are delivered virtually to learners, who are keen to gain on-demand data science skills. Duration for the Data Science Foundation Programme is 6 weeks while for Advanced PGP in data science is 18 weeks. For the part-time mode, the duration for these programs is 20-24 weeks and 40-48 weeks, respectively. On successful completion of the immersive programmes, the learners will receive certificates by StackRoute along with full placement assistance. 

The Data Science Foundation Programme (full-time/part-time) will empower learners with foundational skills to analyse & visualise data using Excel and Python. Upon completion of all assessments, learners acquire the role-specific knowledge & skills and gain the experience to meet the respective learning outcomes. The Advanced PGP in data science and machine learning (full-time/part-time) enables learners to join data science practice team and gain experience to grow up as Data Analyst or ML engineer or Junior Data Scientist. 

Analytics Insight has forecast that by 2025, there will be 1,37,630 data science job openings in India, rising from 62,793 jobs in 2020.

On Thursday, the stock of NIIT opened 2 per cent higher at Rs 187.10 from its previous close of Rs 183.40 on BSE.
