Overnight Digest: These Small-cap stocks will be in Focus on Friday

The midcaps were seen shining on Wednesday even as the BSE Midcap Index managed to close in green when BSE Sensex and BSE SmallCap Index slipped into the red. Idea was the top BSE Midcap index gainer along with UBL and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). Idea zoomed by more than 10 per cent on Wednesday.  

BSE SmallCap Index closed at down by 0.18 per cent while BSE Sensex managed to shut shop at 55629 levels, down by 0.29 per cent.  

Following small-caps will be in focus on Friday :

VST Tillers: The auto stocks gained momentum on Wednesday. Several auto stocks were seen outperforming the markets. VST Tillers was the top BSE SmallCap Index gainer on Wednesday and was seen trading in green after a 52-week breakout. The gains were aided with a huge surge in volumes. VST Tiller will be in focus on Friday.  

52-Week High: Kabra Extrusion, MPS Ltd, Saksoft, SVP Global, Seamec Ltd, Fiem Industries, Goldiam International, Vaxtex Cotfab, UTI AMC and Ganga Forging were some of the buzzing small caps that made fresh 52-week highs on Wednesday. These stocks will be in focus on Friday.  

AYM Syntex: AYM Syntex share price was seen cooling off near its 52-week highs of ~ Rs 97 per share. The stocks of AYM Syntex were seen trading with gains aided with heavy volumes and has been trending up since August 17. The promoters increased the stake in the company on Tuesday. AYM Syntex will be in focus on Friday.  

Intense Technology: The share price of Intense Technology saw heavy buying on Wednesday after the stocks witnessed heavy selling pressure in the past 14 trading sessions where the stocks has slipped by more than 35 per cent.  

Upper Circuit: Nelco, Brightcom Group, Dharani Sugar and Shreyas Shipping were seen locked in upper circuit on Wednesday. These shares will be in focus on Friday trading session.  

Price Volume Gainers: The share price of Rane Madras jumped by more than 10 per cent on Wednesday trading session. The price action was aided with a huge spurt in volume. The price action was interesting because the stocks gained in price after three consecutive down days and a long candlestick body indicated buying interest.
