Affected by the weak global cues, Sensex on Thursday slid by 394.40 points or 1.02 per cent to close at 38220.39 levels. Nifty slipped by 96.20 points or 0.84 per cent to close at 11312.20 levels, whereas the India VIX stood at 20.62 jumping 3.31 per cent.

The consolidated net sales reported in Q1FY21 came in at Rs 268.97 crore, which declined by 47.7 per cent YoY from Rs 514.24 crore in Q1FY20.

Out of the overall loans set to be restructured, almost 60 per cent of them were inclined to slip into the non-performing assets (NPAs) category if not for the recast move. The restructuring will help banks' bottom-line as the money to be set aside as provisions will be lower.

Soda is a part of the basic chemistry product segment, which contributes to more than 60 per cent of its consolidated revenue. The company has announced that the ongoing Capex for capacity expansion is near completion at its Mithapur Plant.
